He was thrown, facial tissue torn, eyelids mutilated, scalp wounds, possible shoulder fracture, and head injuries. Clifford Vanderhoof, about fifty, a Glen dola farmer missing four days, was found drowned near Taylor's Pond with a stone tied to a string around his neck. Coroner Dillion of Belmar notified. Martin Freeman of Glen dola reported Vanderhoof’s disappearance and the body was located near Newman Villa between Belmar and Glendola.
