Kennedy Cottages Devastated By Mysterious Blaze In Sea View

Fire early morning destroyed the Rowland cottage on Sea View avenue and heavily damaged the adjacent Wyckoff cottage owned by John T. Wyckoff of Keyport. Firefighters faced low hydrant pressure and limited water while battling the blaze.

Mrs Martina Williams Dies in Newark

Mrs Martina Williams age 31 wife of Geo Williams of Newark died last Saturday afternoon. She is survived by her husband and sister Estelle Carney. Funeral services were held at Morris chapel with Rev Asbury Smallwood officiating. Interment at White Ridge Cemetery.

Fruit Merchant Seriously Hurt In Rumson Wagon Accident

Joseph Bacigalupi of Fair Haven fruit and vegetable business with his sons was seriously injured when his wagon horses bolted in Rumson Avenue of Two Rivers. He was thrown, facial tissue torn, eyelids mutilated, scalp wounds, possible shoulder fracture, and head injuries. He received aid from Dr. D H Earp and Father Egan before transport to Monmouth Memorial Hospital.

Farmers body found in pond near Belmar Glendola

Clifford Vanderhoof, about fifty, a Glen dola farmer missing four days, was found drowned near Taylor's Pond with a stone tied to a string around his neck. Coroner Dillion of Belmar notified. Martin Freeman of Glen dola reported Vanderhoof’s disappearance and the body was located near Newman Villa between Belmar and Glendola.

Outdoor Festival Hosted by St James Church Guild

The Woman's Guild of St James' Church held an outdoor festival on the church lawn last night with music by The Bay Orchestra. Refreshments were sold and a fishing pond attracted attendees for a pleasant evening.

Lester O Connor Wins 250 Damages in Trolley Collision Case

Lester O Connor, a former Adams Express driver, was awarded 250 damages in Judge Steinbach's court at City Hall for a collision with a trolley on the Monmouth County Electric Company's road at Oceanport. Funeral for Misa Louisa Joline in Loyalton

The funeral of Misa Louisa Joline who died suddenly Saturday night at Mrs. Nelson Slocum’s Loyalton home was held this afternoon from the G. W. Jeffrey residence in Oakwood with Rev. F. B. Drowned Man Identified as Tug Engineer Near Perth Amboy

The body of an unidentified man was found in the water off Walnut Street in Keyport. He is believed to be the engineer of the tug that capsized about a month ago near Perth Amboy. He was about forty, six feet tall, with brown hair and a mustache, wearing a blue shirt overalls and a brown coat. Harvey Bodie, an undertaker, took charge of the body.
