A funeral was held at St. Bartholomew’s Chapel in New York for Arthur E. Nicholson of Shanklin Isle of Wight England a Titanic victim. His body recovered by Mackay Bennett was brought to Halifax and later moved to Woodlawn Cemetery awaiting final resting place. Nicholson was a frequent visitor to Long Branch and known to local residents.
