Old Landmark Moved at Shrewsbury by Charles L White
At Shrewsbury on Tuesday Charles L White moved an old shop on the Shrewsbury road opposite the Post Office. Built about 125 years ago by Lyttle White, it served as a carpenter shop and undertaking room. Coffins were once conveyed by wagons and a hearse debuted in Monmouth County by Charles and Robert H White. The shop’s floor is a schooner deck and the worn gray paint appears freshly refreshed.
