Alleged Forg er 15 Caught At Oceanic
Arthur Emery of Oceanic was arrested Saturday night at his grandfather W P Brown’s home by Constable William Chandler on forgery and obtaining money under false pretenses. George Matthews of Matthews Brothers filed the forgery complaint. Max Levy charged the alleged offense. Emery, once employed by Matthews Brothers in Red Bank, was held for the grand jury without bail after a court hearing. He fell ill in a cell but quickly recovered with medical aid.

Farmer Takes Life in Township Jail
Thomas H. Woolley of Glendora a 37 year old carpenter died by his own hand in the township jail while confined on drunken and disorderly charges. A vial of carbolic acid was found in his possession and a farewell note was prepared for friends. He was son of John H. B. Woolley. He had been placed under rest yesterday afternoon and during the night groaning was heard. He was found with lips burned from the acid.
