Train Delays After Morgan Slide Blocks New York and Long Branch Line
Late last night and this morning a landslide at Morgan collapsed an embankment on the New York and Long Branch Railroad, covering about fifty feet of track with a five foot pile of dirt. Freight engine No 345 derailed, delaying the theatre and passenger trains. passengers were transferred and arrived two hours late. Also, Walter Lankeneau lost control of his car near Hazlet, striking an embankment but escaping injury. the auto was towed for repairs.

Conductor Dies On Station Platform At Central Depot
Clement Hinehman a 59 year old railroad conductor fell dead on the Central depot platform while preparing to board the 6401 K K south bound. He collapsed seen by assistants who rushed him toward Monmouth Memorial Hospital but he died en route. Survived by widow and two children Reuben and Irene, he belonged to Camden Lodge A O C W and the Order of Railroad Conductors. Funeral to be led by William H Morris Jr. Also included items: local notices and ads seeking checker games and a roll top desk for sale plus party invitation by the Society for Improving Conditions of the Poor.

Rumson Man Held on Non-support Charge at Red Bank

Horses Collide With Trolley Cars Killing Team of Horses
A valuable team of horses owned by John Gutre Co was killed at Albury Park last evening after colliding with a trolley near Munroe Avenue and Main Street. The drivers failed to stop, the horses died instantly, and the trolley sustained minor damage.
