First Beer Arrest At Asbury Park First Man Nabbed

New Moves In Radiator War
Mrs. Mary E K Clarkson of Spring street Red Battle was arrested yesterday afternoon by Chief J Frank Patterson on a charge of assault and battery with intent to kill. William McKenzie sworn out the charge after being shot at while removing a radiator. Clarkson was held to await grand jury action under $500 bonds with William B Van Wasner as bondsman. The incident follows an earlier arrest of Arthur G Sickles for threatening to shoot the men. Radiators were recovered from cellar and barn and moved to Sickles shop then to Disbrow Striker warehouse. A lawsuit is anticipated.

Octogenarian Bank President Hurt In Rumson Road Crash
Isaac B. Edwards president of the Second National Bank Red Bank was thrown from his runabout when a touring car driven by Charles E. R. Toombs of New York rear ended the vehicle on Rumson road near Dr Edric Parmly's home. Edwards suffered a scalp wound but workers said he was not seriously injured and continued bank work. Toombs remained at the scene and was arrested at Sea Bright for a hearing before Judge Bedford. several tourists witnessed the collision.

High Court Overrules Jury in Train Ejection Case
The New Jersey Supreme Court, in a per curiam filed June 16, set aside the $1,000 verdict for William L. Howards in a suit against Central Railroad Company over ejectment from a train at South Amboy during a Elizabethport to Long Branch route dispute. Jury retrials failed to reach a verdict before, after a second retrial, a similar $1,000 award was again overturned by the court. Howards will continue the suit.
