Williams alias Black Diamond seeks pardon after double voting claim

Assistant Prosecutor Peter Vredenburgh plans to file with the Court of Pardons for the release of Thomas Williams known as Black Diamond, who pled guilty to plural voting and was sentenced to two years. Doubt about Williams voting at Asbury Park and Wanamassa last fall underlies the request. Williams admitted voting twice while in county jail during the Marie Smith murder investigation, then faced related charges.
