Last night in Red Bank a former Eisner factory employee George Shushman was shot and critically wounded in the neck shoulder and chest. Suspects David J. Bobrain and Mrs Ozat Kroskov were arrested at the Town Hall with hearings set for this afternoon. Witnesses describe a confrontation at Shushman’s boarding house and on Harrison Avenue ending with medical aid and transport to Monmouth Memorial Hospital.

Water sports regatta set for Shrewsbury river event at Shallow Point
South Shrewsbury Ice Boat and Yacht Club completed arrangements for a regatta on the Shrewsbury at Shallow Point tomorrow afternoon starting at 2. Lead Pipe Thieves Captured by Patrolman Vetter
George Williams a laborer tied to a chicken theft ring was arrested by Patrolman Vetter in Second Avenue with a heavy bag containing lead pipe. The pipe likely came from the old New York Hotel on Fay Street opposite the Southern depot and was taken to City Hall for investigation.
