Senate Passes Bill Repealing Frelinghuysen Amendment On School Boards
In Trenton yesterday the Senate approved bill No. 60 with one dissenting vote. It repeals the Frelinghuysen amendment to the general school act, restoring old methods of choosing boards and appointing them by the Mayor. The old Long Branch board plans its final meeting tonight as the new board prepares to organize Thursday. one member, Edward R. Slocum, is away in Panama.
