J Harrison Lupton longtime wallpaper tradesman died suddenly yesterday at his Garfield avenue home after a night and morning of severe indigestion. He was 82 and a Civil War veteran with deep local ties. Survived by widow and sister, funeral arrangements to be announced. The obit also notes his active republican leanings and community roles.

The group reported a $1000 hospital donation with $1000 toward a new nurses set. the 20th annual charity ball is planned for February 1 with a committee appointed and a buffet lunch at five o clock. Also noted farmingdale physician Dr William R Kinmonth died of pneumonia aged about 70, survived by a widow.
