A certificate of authority was issued to John G Sacco, Janos B Pageo, John Sacco Jr and Anthony G Paces trading as John G Sacco & Sons, to operate a general banking business from offices on South Avenue. The firm, the first individual bankers in Monmouth County, will be supervised by the state Department of Banking and Insurance. The senior member John G Sacco has long been linked with the Hollywood Hotel and Cottages. The firm previously ran a taxi agency and provided transportation for Italians returning home. The new banking office is one-story cement block with modern offices and local ties to the Sacco family remain strong.
