Man jailed for neglecting family in Sea Bright case
Charles Brown a former Sea Bright police officer is jailed in Freehold charged with willfully neglecting to provide for his destitute family. A warrant followed his wife’s complaint on January 31 before Justice G C Williams at Atlantic Highlands. Extradition was discussed as Brown was spotted on a trolley to Highlands and arrested after coordination between Atlantic Highlands and Highlands police. Bail set at 500 dollars. Brown said he could not obtain a bondsman.
