Aged Middletown Man Burned in Home Fire

Hendrickson aged seventy five perished when fire destroyed his home on the King's Highway Middletown. Attendant Elizabeth Arneal escaped in night clothing after being awakened by smoke. Neighbors found charred remains among bathroom fixtures. The blaze spread rapidly with wind aiding its advance. Miss Ella Hendrickson, sister, alerted after Mrs Arneal fled. The house, over forty years old, contained antique pieces and family silverware. The origin of the fire remains unknown.

Mrs Sarah W Perrine dies at her daughter Mrs William H Morris Jr Broadway home at 9 yesterday morning aged nearly 90 born 1824 daughter of late Judge James Herbert and Charlotte Herbert survived by two children Morris and Samuel Perrine both in Washington Street.

Former Prosecutor Ivins Dies After Long Illness

Charles H. Ivins longtime Monmouth County Democrat and former prosecutor of the pleas died Saturday night in Red Bank after a two month diabetes illness. The Ivins family and staff of Ivins Durand & Carton attended the service at his Red Bank home with burial at Fair View Cemetery Middletown. Survived by widow, son Clifford, brothers Elwood and Alert Ivins, sister Mrs Henry Sayre. Ivins served in the New Jersey Assembly and as prosecutor after appointment by Governor Abbett.

William VanMater Escapes After Saturday Assault
