A West End fire destroyed two barns and adjoining outbuildings, with major damage to property and the Hendrickson estate. Fire officials and residents suspect arson as the cause, stating weekly blazes endanger lives and require a full department response. Loss exceeds eight thousand dollars.
Mayor Frederick W. Donnelly and Martin P. Devlin of Trenton address a public mass meeting on Commission Government tonight February 9 at Empire Theatre Monmouth St Red Hawk. Public invited. Motion pictures and crack act entertainment featured each afternoon and evening.

H W Green and Bros owners plan making the store now occupied by Frank L Howland more attractive by altering entrance and show window. phone exchange styling also to be updated. Work begins at once and must be finished by March 1.
The Feast of the Bix Tables in Red Bank has been rescheduled from Washington’s Birthday to Tuesday night February 20 in the First Presbyterian Church social hall. Little Edna Green, injured by a horse and sleigh, remains at home but is improving and may return to school soon. Building news notes an icehouse and milk house being built for E P Davison on Pearl Street by George T Luke. A mass meeting led by Martin P Devny of Trenton will discuss Communism Government tonight with public invitation.

The New Jersey Methodist Conference led by Bishop Berry plans an Open Conference in Asbury Park on March 18.
