Miss Lavinia Irwin Dies After Two Week Illness
Mrs Lavinia Irwin widow of Augustus Irwin and sister of Harmon Edwards died at her nephew Harmon Edwards home 29 Oakwood avenue at seven this morning aged sixty six. She had been ill two weeks with heart trouble. She was daughter of John and Deborah Edwards born at Ratontown. Husband died about ten years ago. Survived by two children John Irwin and Mrs John L Howland a brother Harmon Edwards and singer Mrs Emma White of Hartford Conn. Funeral arrangements pending. They had left Palm Beach weeks earlier and faced a severe storm from Sunday night through Tuesday forcing them to stay in their staterooms aboard the ship.
