Prison Sentences Handed Down By Judge Foster
Two State prison terms were imposed by Judge John F E Foster at Freehold yesterday. W J Patterson of Oceanic received a four year term after serving six months in county jail for causing the two year old child of Margaret Matthews to drink, a Worthless fellow noted by the prosecutor. Frank Brown of Frenan was sentenced to three years for burning Mrs Elizabeth Wari s barn at Frenan, with prior delays. Andrew Marinelli, convicted of illegal liquor sales at 47 Ridge Avenue Asbury Park, fined 400 dollars and costs with further sentence suspended. Dre Austin Neame of Red Bank pleaded guilty to deserting his wife in Los Angeles and was released for sentence next Thursday. Mrs Neame urged swift sentencing. Allen Craig of Asbury Park, also desertion, fined costs and sentence suspended. A J C Stokes said Craig had agreed to pay his wife seven per person and already paid counsel fees. Guy Brooks, who pleaded guilty to bigamy, had his sentence laid over. He faced charges of desertion from the U S Marine Service and admitted guilt after evidence.

Two Injured at Red Bank Crossing
