The First Presbyterian Church men held a turkey supper in the lecture room last night serving 370 guests. Dr. Lovell called it the most successful event yet with turkey leftovers and a program by Prof. F K Ball's orchestra. Former Mayor Charles C. McFaddin led the waiters with a large assisting team.

School Boy Injuries At Monmouth Beach School
Milton Price eight, son of Mr and Mrs Leo Price of Monmouth Beach, severely hurt November 22 during a game at school. Two boys grabbed him and one struck him on the head. He fell ill at home, doctors say tuberculosis and meningitis due to the blows. His parents, grieving over a prior loss, face further hardship and seek treatment options.

Ayres Convicted Of Worse Theft In Little Silver

Soldier Boy Tom Sailor Ahearn Dies at Sister Home
Thomas Ahearn known as Tom Sailor died at his sister Mrs George Throckmorton’s home at Norwood avenue and Broadway in Long Branch after a life of service in the US Army twice three-year terms. He suffered tuberculosis after illness in New Mexico and had fought a hard life yet remained hopeful and active until the end. Survived by two sisters and a brother, funeral at Star of the Sea Church Friday with burial at Mt Olivet cemetery under William H Morris Jr funeral director.

Aged Man Struck and Killed by Car on Norwood Avenue
Samuel Throckmorton of Long Branch was fatally struck while crossing Norwood Avenue near his home by a Rambler owned by M. L. Cross of Asbury Park. He died en route to Monmouth Memorial Hospital from a fractured skull and leg wounds. He had been active that afternoon, earlier purchasing meal provisions and tending a cow.
