In Durand Michigan last night a rear end collision of Grand Trunk trains No 4 and No 14 killed sixteen passengers on the Nebraska sleeper and seriously injured five others. The wreck occurred after a signal was missed during a strike breaking operation.

Dollies' Day at Shore Parade Slated for Next Wednesday

Horticultural Show Promises Blue Ribbon Exhibit At Fair

The coming Blue Ribbon Fair will feature a grand horticultural show with Mr Butter bach in charge. Amateurs compete for gold prizes and silver cups including donations from Tatum of Middletown and Mrs M A Rice of Leonardville. Harvest Home Honors Father Reynolds at Red Bank Jubilee

Practically all Red Bank attended the silver jubilee harvest home at St James Catholic Church grounds in Monmouth street. A grand 450 piece Pain’s fireworks display drew about 2000 people with 260 different pieces exciting the crowd. Entertainment included dancing in St James Hall with Hollywood’s orchestra and music by the Keyport Brass Band on the lawn. Food offerings and abundant sandwiches completed the event.
