Wallace Sylvester pulled the wire away as Burdge collapsed. Coroner Bennett plans an inquest. Burial at Mt Prospect follows services at West Grove M B Church.

Fireworks display ends as police halt Long Branch show
A Long Branch fireworks event spiraled into danger as bombs lighted the boardwalk and grandstand fires forced officers to stop the display. Fine horse parade closes August carnival feature
