Slit trousers and skirts draw mid summer fashion push
At Cedar Point near Sandusky Ohio the International Custom Cutters association held a mid summer meeting and outing led by P F Kelley of Milwaukee. About twenty two cutters showcased slit trousers in white serge or flannel with legs slit to mid calf, while hosiery in delicate hues complemented the look. The modish feminine tight skirt also drew praise for accentuating grace.

Maeterlinck and Leblanc Love Interview Reveals Bold Claim
The article recounts Georgette Leblanc declaring Maurice Maeterlinck her husband after reading his work. She recalls a bold first approach, the poet's cautious response, and a dramatic interview that framed fate and desire. A sidelong anecdote about a smallpox scar provokes laughs on a streetcar.

Purifying the Language Ally in Red Deer Terminology
A note from the Londos Spectator defends using hind for the female red deer and calf for the young, calling any insistence on doe or fawn a shock to sensitive ears. The piece argues language forms shape perception and urges traditional terms.
