Edward Schoenthaler former contractor and County Board member left this morning for Trenton with sister in law Nellie Layton to wed at his parents home. Harold E. Denegar was reengaged by the Asbury Park council as city publicity director at his former salary of 1500 dollars. The one year appointment runs from April 1. The motion to reengage Denegar was offered by Mr. Winans with Councilman Hancock opposing.
New York visitor to Fair Haven collapses and dies near a Trodley car while en route. A Matawan resident dies shortly after from fatal seizures attributed to apoplexy, with two incidents occurring within six hours yesterday.
Two sudden deaths are reported in this item. Emily Courtwright Ber thet of New York City died on a street near Fairhaven while en route home from a visit to Mrs. G. Lewis. Oak Shades resident Stacy Ann Frost of Matawan died from apoplexy near her home. coroner Harry C. Fay issued burial permits for both cases.
The Spring Institute was held at Eatontown Presbyterian Church with sessions at 10:30 a m and 2:00 p m. Prof Alfonso Hopkins of New York addressed the afternoon meeting.
