A grim accident on an athletic track left a brother dead with his body broken and strewn along the surface for a distance of at least fifty yards. The victim, a man whose identity is not yet disclosed, lay upon the track after being struck by a moving vehicle during an event. Police and officials began investigations as witnesses described a shocking scene.
Tragic Freight Trains Hits Man Near Wickatunk Station

Coroner and physician state two drownings were accidental and caused by a foul pull-off rope on a pound boat. Verdict says improper equipment and a fouled line contributed to the loss of Captain George A. Smith and Marino Mutaso during a surf incident on April 4. Witness James H.
