Auto collides with fire hydrant on Laird Street
A five passenger Hupmobile driven by a man swerved onto Ocean Avenue and struck a fire hydrant near the curb at Laird Street last night. The car overturned, front axle broken, steering gear damaged, and the occupants escaped injury. The wreck occurred about 10 o'clock and the car was towed to Andy's garage for temporary repair.
