Separation plans may not affect $7.1 million bond issue
In Lynwood on Sept 23 officials state that Paramount district separation plans will not impact the Oct 20 high school and college bond election. Paramount plans to separate from Compton union district and form a Paramount unified district. Proceeds would be divided by assessed valuation. Paramount Supt Jack Robinson and Trustee Fred Woelfel say the separation should not disturb the Compton district election or the Paramount elementary bond vote Oct 13. Each high school would receive its entitled share.
