Top Believed Near' in Korean War Business Boom
New York September 2. Up! There are indications the sharp business upswing from the Korean War has reached its peak says the National Association of Purchasing Agents. Business may level off after two months of high activity as production and new orders rose in August. Military orders have not yet altered the overall picture. price, material, and inventory controls are viewed as potentially harmful. Voluntary allotments are working, defense needs are not heavy enough to require controls, and price ceilings would remove price signals.
