Solons Find Real War in Greece During Tour
In Athens on October 17, Congressmen Olin Beeby Teague and Donald L. Jackson said guerrilla mortars near northern Greece create a real state of war between insurgents and government troops. The veterans were unhurt as shells landed within 50 to 75 yards of their party. Their tour to Europe included a halt near Souphis on the Turkish border where dynamited salt bridges stranded them for two days.
