Public Hearing Scheduled in Dismissal Case for Patrolman Wright
The Civil Service Commission plans a public hearing to consider the dismissal of Patrolman Harry T. Wright, charged with conduct unbecoming an officer after a 90 day suspension. Wright has served 16 years with the Police Department, and the hearing date was moved back after a court injunction seeking reemployment was denied. The latest plan sets the hearing for 2 p.m. at the regular meeting.
