Tampico Threatened by Mounting Floods
U S Navy relief mission warned Tampico faces a worsening flood threat after Hurricane Janet. Adm Miles leads rescue from Panama, Saipan carrier off Tampico with 14 helicopters and 12 doctors. Navy aims to rescue ten people as blinding interior storms drive rising waters. Previous tolls range around 300 in eastern Mexico and Yucatan. Tornado toll in Puebla area estimated about 40.
