University seeks forest residue uses in lab research
The California State Chamber of Commerce Forest Products section director said half of forest material from standing timber is wasted and highlighted top branches sawdust slabs and ed residue as targets for new uses. Dr Fred E Dickinson cited ongoing research into converting forest byproducts for practical applications.
