Two Counties Picked for Roadside Rest Plan in California
Sacramento announces a $450,000 roadside rest program to begin next year. Hearmon Rowe says installations will start in San Bernardino and Plumas counties with sites selected for need and traffic. Four rests to be built along US 661 and three along it 5 40, with future funds hoped to extend the program.
