The widow Ruby Marie Pratt, 27, confessed to Long Beach police that she and her husband took part in 15 Long Beach bank and liquor store holdups as part of more than 100 crimes. Pratt, killed June 30, 1948, in a Tustin bank shootout, is linked to others including the Yoders.
