Veterans March and Armistice Day Parade in Fullerton
Tens of thousands lined downtown Fullerton for Orange County Veterans Day events. The Armistice parade halted at 11 am after a distant bomb, buglers played taps, and Air Force Reserve planes flew overhead. Highlights included a plaque dedication at Fullerton Municipal Airport and a gridiron classic between Huntington Beach and Fullerton unions. Festivities continued with a vaudeville show, a dance, and an awards ceremony for parade divisions and mounted units from local clubs and schools.
