Likeness of Famed Sioux to Be Carved on Mountain
Pierre South Dakota reports plans to carve Crazy Horse’s likeness on a Black Hills mountain. Ziolkowski, a West Hartford sculptor, has bought a mountain site two miles from Mount Rushmore and vows lifelong work. The project honors Crazy Horse and Pine Ridge leader Henry Standing Bear, depicting an Indian on a stallion with the lands where the dead lie buried.
