Kaiser Urges Newsmen to Spread Health Plan Story
Industrialist Henry J. Kaiser urged reporters to publicize a proposed private finance plan for prepaid medical care and hospital facilities. He described Kaiser organizations running 3 self supporting hospitals and said a Wolverton bill could back private loans to build medical centers without subsidies or government control. He stated a $1 billion investment could provide care for 30 million Americans and outlined four principles: pre payment, group practice, integrated facilities and preventive care.
