Reasons Detailed on Prop B for Public Safety Buildin
The Citizens Committee for Public Safety argues Prop B funds a new city Public Safety Building to replace overcrowded facilities. It cites cramped juvenile custody spaces, an overfilled jail, cramped police HQ, a jammed records basement, and inadequate fire department housing. The group led by Willam F. Peivk backs a $4.658 million project funded from existing public improvement and tidel revenue without a tax increase.
