In 12 relief appearances this season he has six saves and two wins, boosting the Orioles as he closes games and tightens the bullpen. Merry-Go-Round captures barbershop chatter on sports and TV

In a Saturday barbershop scene Hank Hollingworth records idle talk about horse racing results, World Series hype, baseball figures, and Hollywood stars. The dialogue spans Needless versus Calumet Farm, Landis and an Australian challenger, Dodgers manager Durocher, and Bobby Bragan, ending as a patron leaves with a sharp, dismissive final note.

Disjointed lines record players, teams, and infield events from a chaotic box score. Names like Hicks, Wight, Crandall, and Smith appear amid scattered innings and scoring notes, with references to Orioles Milwaukee Boston New York St Louis and several pitchers and fielders. The garbled OCR yields a snapshot of a doubleheader with RBI, hits, errors, and substitutions but lacks coherent narrative or complete line scores.
