Five Die as Flames Sweep Resort Home in Jersey
In Deal New Jersey a three story stucco seaside home burned early today killing a mother, her three children and a maid. The victims were Mrs William Rediker and her children Stewart 12 Kenneth 14 Bonnie Joy 5 and a maid identified as Henrietta. Fire Chief George Woods said all windows were closed when firemen arrived and described the heat as terrific. Rediker co owned Reid Jewelry and Monte Carlo pool in Asbury Park. Damage was estimated at 20000 to 25000 dollars. The cause was not immediately determined.
