Eisenhower to Fly Commercial Plane for NY Dinners

President Eisenhower plans a political trip to New York on a commercial flight to attend two 100 a plate Republican dinners. The White House says it would be unfair to use the taxpayers plane, with costs to be borne by the New York State GOP and American Airlines. The DC-6 charter will carry Capt. Harry L. Carhop Dies During Facial Rejuvenation in Los Angeles

Los Angeles coroner and police probe the death of Kay Stanley a 39 year old carhop found dead at a salon Monday night during a non surgical facial rejuvenation. The owner Mary Penny and attorney Gladys Towles Root said Stanley died amid the procedure. Cause listed as unknown with possibilities of natural or accidental. A broken vial was found beneath the body and sent to the crime lab for analysis. Stanley resided in Burbank with husband Jack and children Mace and Susan. A sister Mildred Greenberg testified she brought Stanley to the salon and that she planned a two week stay for further treatment.
