Bingo Ban Amended and Gets Ist Reading
The City Council approved an amended ordinance banning lite 1 o line and similar games. First reading passed 5-0 with four members absent. Deputy City Atty. Nimocks defined the games and noted the amendment aims to deter legal challenges. The measure to create an amusement games board and permit denials remains, while shooting galleries were only noted for potential exemption. The ordinance is scheduled for further action.
