Buck Luff, a 29 year old quadriplegic patient at Long Beach Veterans Hospital, paints Western scenes without using his hands. Trained in 1948 by Eugene, he tapes brushes to his fingers and works 7 to 10 pm, creating 100 to 150 pieces since starting in 1948. His Palm Springs show will feature about 45 paintings, with works like Lone Warrior and Medicine Man.
