Douglas Aircraft Busman Reaches Million Miles No Accident
Fred Lecklider, a veteran Douglas Aircraft private bus line driver, has logged 1,000,000 miles without an accident since World War I. He previously barnstormed with J. Alex Sloan’s auto racing team, touring fairs across the United States and Canada. Plant records show he is time conscious and has never been sick or late to work. The Harbor Area X Ray Technicians group plans a meeting tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the Security Bids conference room at First Street and Pine Avenue, per Francis Aukerman.
