Revolvers Find Way Through Mail To Marines In Korea
Washington reports rising cases of enlisted men requesting personal six shooters mailed to them in Korea. Relatives, mostly mothers and aunts, mail firearms in response to perceived need for sidearms near the front. Officials cite postal laws and military policy, noting most troops do not require sidearms and mail of firearms is restricted to officers for official duties with proper affidavit.

Franz Rademacher, former official in Hitler's foreign office, received three years and five months in prison for his role in the Nazi plot to murder about 1500 Serbian Jews in Belgrade during the German occupation. The verdict was handed down yesterday.
