Naval Reservists Sail For Honolulu On Destroyers
A crew of naval reservists aboard destroyers Wedderburn Twining and Unimann set course for Honolulu. The group includes 750 youths from Southern California Naval Reserve Training Centers who trained to learn gunnery, deflection, windage and range. They will participate in simulated bomber attacks, antiaircraft drills and early morning surprise gunnery runs, gaining first hand shipboard experience.
