Teen gang led by 16 year old held for multiple robberies
A 16 year old Maywood boy labeled leader of a teen gang was held by Long Beach police as the ramrod of the group that committed two robberies and an attempted one. Five youths were in custody as detectives tied older members to the cases. The gang used a 22 caliber pellet gun. two older suspects, Oswell J. Henry and Rudy J. Arellano, face charges while a juvenile petition targets the 18 year old ringer and a 15 year old for attempted robbery. Preliminary hearings are set for Wednesday.
