Dump Truck Bed Kills Long Beach Mechanic
A Long Beach mechanic Lewis H. Ricca, 35, was killed when the raised bed of a dump truck fell onto him in Wilmington. Investigators said he was working beneath the truck when the weight toppled. Fellow worker Arthur Rogh freed the bed, and Ricca's body was taken to Cartwright Mortuary in Wilmington. Surviving is his widow Myrtle.
