Doctors Ask Heart Life Team Plan
A Cleveland group of surgeons urged trained resuscitation teams to respond to acute heart attacks outside hospitals. Drs. Claude S. Beck Elden C Weckesser and Frank M. Barry of Western Reserve University and University Hospital said emergency hand massage and electrical shock revived patients when heartbeat ceased. They noted three recent outside operating room revivals and cited AMA as backing.
