Moscow announced daily instrument training flights near Berlin airfields without notifying the safety center, while Major General Hall noted no details on aircraft type or start, but flights would be from dawn to 10 400 feet. The move could endanger allied pilots and aim to halt mass food airlifts to Berlin, as Washington pledged the airlift would continue.
