Better Hemisphere Cooperation Seen for 1957
Dr. Jose A. Mora of the Organization of American States told Colgate speakers in New York that the Inter-American Economic and Social Council will become a key forum for joint action. He urged a commission system to study economic tensions and warned against friction among nations as hemispheric markets expand. The Buenos Aires conference, set for 1956, was postponed to 1957, with oas missions possible to aid troubled members.
