Marine Corps Exhibit Arrives in Long Beach Monday
A Marine Corps travel exhibit from Washington comes to Long Beach on Monday, on display from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in front of 3rd Street and the American. Led by M. Sgt. William M. Pascoe, the 32-foot trailer showcases tools of the trade from 45 caliber pistols to a 33-inch rocket launcher, including vest, uniforms, aircraft models, decorations, and battle streamers of three active divisions. Non-commissioned officers will explain items as visitors walk through. The trailer is publicized by Edison Co windows showing 18th to 19th century uniforms.
