Will Forget Fined Put on Probation
Los Angeles report says Thomas J. Larkin Jr. a 46 year old Honolulu real estate salesman was fined 1000 and placed on five years probation for his role in forging a will of Jesse G. Beckford trillionaire candymaker and real estate magnate. He induced Reverend Avon C Yapp of Honolulu to sign the forged will as a witness after Beckford died March 27 1954 leaving a five million dollar estate to his widow Georgette. Larkin pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of forgery after originally facing forgery charges.
